Introducing the Okanagan Summit Series

How it Works

We want to give your team the BEST opportunity to compete to complement your team’s regular weekly training during the club season. Registration is now open for teams to participate in the Okanagan Summit Series, which runs on four Saturday afternoons throughout the Volleyball BC Club Season.

The Okanagan Summit Series was designed to provide teams the opportunity to play on a regular basis. Our hope is for an affordable, competitive, and supportive environment for all players!

We've worked hard to ensure that Okanagan Summit Series weekends don't interfere with Volleyball BC 1-Day Regionals, Super Series, Regional Championships, or Provincials.

More Details

Competition Outline:

• Teams are divided into pools of four, based on their initial declared rankings.

• Each team will play 2 sets to 25 points against each of the other teams in their pool for a total of 6 sets / playday.

• After each playday, teams are repooled, with the top team in each division moving up and the bottom team moving down.

• U12 & U13 A/AA (Girls) Initial pools will use triple ball and go to three sets, all other pools will use regular gameplay

• Match start times will be either 12PM or 2PM, depending on gym / pool.

• During thier bye rounds, teams will line / ref for off teams (US style)

• Warm-up & game balls will be provided.

• Scrimmage matches DO NOT count towards Volleyball BC Provincial ranking.

• All regular Volleyball Canada rules will apply.

• Last day of series is a championship for all pools, with prizes for each pool winner!

• Pricing: $600 per team for all four playdays. Cannot register for a single scrimmage day.
